Meet Pine Needle Beauty

If you have ever moved to a new place, then you might know the feeling of missing your favorite corner coffee shop. Espresso, while still good, just doesn’t feel quite right. When we moved from Poland to the US, we felt the same way about our favorite natural and vegan cosmetics. That’s why we decided to bring them over from Europe and share all the goodness with you, so you can also consciously enjoy the highest quality products and positively impact the world around you.

Quality

Products in our store are imported from Europe and meet the highest quality norms (which are often far more strict than FDA requirements). In compliance with European law, all cosmetics underwent the mandatory registration of cosmetic products and have cleared pre-market safety assessments. The European Union banned or restricted over 1,300 chemicals while the FDA banned only 11 ingredients from cosmetics use. Safety, however, is just the first part of the reason why our selection is so good. The second part is the quality and quantity of the ingredients used. Our partners use only the best quality raw materials, and all active ingredients are present in high concentrations.

Cruelty Free

Any and all products that we sell are vegan, cruelty free, and based on natural ingredients. We don’t sell brands that test on animals or that contract third parties to do such tests. Nor do we sell brands that are available in countries that require animal testing. You can be sure that no animal was hurt during development, testing or manufacturing of our products.

Body image in digital age

At Pine Needle Beauty, we believe that you don’t need steel needles to preserve your natural beauty. You only need the best that nature has to offer. We also believe that technology distorts how we perceive the world. It’s not only manually retouching photographs in photo editing programs, it’s also all the processing built in your phone cameras. The digital world is much different than the real world. There’s too much anxiety associated with how we look compared to people online. We pledge not take advantage of digitally altered photography depicting people (anything beyond what could have been achieved in traditional darkroom). You are beautiful, we love you.

No place for discrimination

There is simply no place for discrimination in modern society. No matter your age, religious beliefs, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, social standing, disabilities… we are all equal.
